"Public-Private Partnerships: A 'How-To' Handbook for Emergency Managers"
- Tuesday, February 01, 2011

|
The National Emergency Management Association (NEMA) has asked the NIMSAT Institute to develop a compendium of public-private partnerships and other related resources (click here to view letter from NEMA) that would be of interest to state emergency management directors. When complete, the handbook will identify and profile the best practices, common issues and creative solutions to challenges presented to communities and states that are engaged in integrating businesses and the broader private sector in every phase of emergency management. The project is a joint collaboration between NEMA, the International Association of Emergency Managers (IAEM) and the FEMA Private Sector Office. If you or someone in your community has a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) that you would like to showcase in the Best Practices document, we encourage you to follow the link below and fill out the survey.
