The seminar, hosted by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Naval Post Graduate Program, will bring together federal and state emergency managers and business and industry stakeholders in a hurricane driven exercise. The disaster executive education seminar will focus on improving public/private partnerships, continuity of operations for more resilient communities, and utilizing private sector resources during times of disaster which could result in more cost-effective and efficient solutions.

Louisiana continues to lead the nation as a role model in emergency management and homeland security initiatives. As the first of its kind, the Louisiana BEOC has, and will continue to set the standard as a best practice in the fields of emergency management.
