Academy of the Sacred Heart Students Present Port Fouchon Cost Replacement Study - Wednesday, May 11, 2011

The NIMSAT Institute presented the Academy of the Sacred Heart of Grand Coteau 7th grade students an alternative port cost analysis problem from their current LA 1/Port Fourchon research project. The students presented their solutions in a presentation on May 11, 2001 at Abdalla Hall on the UL Lafayette campus.
The students looked at the cost of operating Port Fourchon, and compared these costs to operating from some alternate ports. The students received a special declaration from Governor Bobby Jindal on the project, which was presented by Dr. Ramesh Kolluru, NIMSAT Institute, Executive Director. |
